FAQ > GENERAL > What is the process?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Preparation Phase
    1. Remove old Caulking.
    2. Cleaned with degreaser to remove soap film
    3. Acid etch tub and wet sand to rough up surface.
    4. Repair chips, scratches, and rough areas.
    5. Mask off tub area with paper and tarps to protect walls, floor, and bathroom fixtures.

 Spray Phase
    
1. Exhaust fan or blower with tubing used to vent any fumes.
    2. Acid based primer and 3 to 4 coats of an Acrylic Urethane Enamel is sprayed onto tub.

Cleanup/Curing
    
1. Silicon Caulking replaced around tub within one hour after spraying.
    2. Surface cures in 24 or 48 hours depending on your needs.
